http://prepaidcreditcardz.org Prepaid bad credit cards for teens and student credit cards. Video explains pre paid credit card holds which prevent you spending some money in account for several days.

Pre Paid Credit Card Facts You Need to Know – Video No. 2 – A Pre Paid Credit Card Will Not Always Allow You to Spend All Available Cash In It

Pre Paid Credit Cards which are also at times called prepaid debit cards are a life-saver for anyone who has a bad credit record, and is unable to obtain a normal credit card. (See free credit report site if you have bad credit.)

But, in this video we will give you a tip which might well avoid you embarrassment, when applying for a Prepaid Credit Card.

Also, there are certain circumstances when it will not be possible, until a previous transaction clears to withdraw a sum of moye which the pre paid card supplier will hold awaiting possible payment.

Now to another misconception.

Many people do not realize that you have to pay to use a pre paid credit card.

While you can find free credit cards and even credit cards that pay you to use them, it’s almost impossible to find a free re-loadable prepaid debit card.

Think of this as the price to pay for the safety of a prepaid card.

A good way to calculate how much a prepaid debit card will cost you is to first think about how you’re going to use the card. Think of a typical month and the activity which will be paid for, on the card.

Then use the card company’s charge scales to work out the cost roughly.

Only by doing this, and also by reading their terms of use, can you assess the best card company for you.

Always be sure to read the fees table very carefully before you get a card.

Also. Some cards charge for customer service where others don’t.

It is doubly frustrating to both, have to call customer service thinking that it is free, and then later find you have been charged for the service as well!

Another surprise to some is that you may have to pay to put money on your card.

While a credit card will accept payment and not charge you for that, a prepaid debit card will often have multiple load money alternatives – some may be free and some not free.

Given the differences between prepaid debit cards, choosing the right prepaid debit card is very important.

We hope you found this useful.

Better to learn how to manage a credit card now, rather than when you’re an adult and the consequences of poor spending habits can affect you for a lifetime.

So, how do you help your teenagers become credit-card savvy?

Well, let your kids play in a credit card sand box where they cannot overspend. Get a prepaid Visa card, or prepaid MasterCard, or one of the many others on offer it’s your choice.

Teens spend round about $150 billion to $200 billion a year; there is no shock that banks are using affinity cards to infiltrate into young wallets. A prepaid debit card is more or less like a reusable check — purchases are deducted from the amount deposited onto the card. With a BuyRIGHT prepaid MasterCard , your checks can be automatically loaded on to your BuyRIGHT card. General purpose MasterCard prepaid cards can be used to pay bills or make purchases.

We are told that already 6.2 million consumers carried prepaid cards (in 2002), and that was expected to grow to over 40 million by 2008, the Pelorus Group stated. The Nilson Report said that prepaid cards will be a $71.5 billion market by the end of 2003, up 31% from the 2002 level.

The federal government’s Jump$tart survey of over 4,000 high school seniors revealed that 32% used credit cards and 43% had access to ATM machines. Yet the vast majority of teenagers do not understand how to compare credit cards in terms of fixed or variable Annual Percentage Rates, finance charges, grace periods and so forth.

Yet for debit card issuers and other market players, profit and success can be harder to come by and to quantify than in the credit realm. A half-dozen variable fees change hands behind the scenes of every debit transaction; merchants have grown increasingly litigious over interchange and discount rates; and issuers are struggling to maintain profits in order to fund highly desirable rewards programs. Before you start using a card, decide what it will be used for.

At CardEx, they offer complete in-house design through implementation. Whether your needs are prepaid debit card products, internet development, or a complete web solution, CardEx offers a complete one stop shop. Parents can co-sign for cards or have their children added to existing accounts. The benefit of sharing an account: Parents can have the bills sent to them to monitor monthly charges. In addition, we launched a card design competition allowing anyone to compete for great prizes and royalties on their designs. I have had the worst travel luck recently .Today, there are storms in NY so I’m on a train as we speak heading to D.C.

In theory, when you do apply for a full credit card, the one with the lowest interest rate and the highest credit limit is the best. High credit limits are not always the best choice for everyone though. The best bet is a bank or post office and if you carry an American Express card you may want to check them out as well. The reputable banks will offer you a good rate and will help explain the credit card billing and free grace period process to you if you are unfamiliar.

Remember that spending beyond a credit card limit is not free money – far from it! But, learn and take care to be responsible and you can benefit from all the advantages of convenient cashless sales through your credit facility.
